This paper presents a new family of interior solutions of Einstein–Maxwell field equations in general relativity for a static spherically symmetric distribution of a charged perfect fluid with a particular form of charge distribution. This solution gives us wide range of parameter, K, for which the solution is well behaved hence, suitable for modeling of superdense star. For this solution the gravitational mass of a star is maximized with all degree of suitability by assuming the surface density equal to normal nuclear density, ρnm=2.5×1017 kg?m?3. By this model we obtain the mass of the Crab pulsar, MCrab, 1.36M⊙ and radius 13.21 km, constraining the moment of inertia >?1.61×1038 kg?m2 for the conservative estimate of Crab nebula mass 2M⊙. And MCrab=1.96M⊙ with radius RCrab=14.38 km constraining the moment of inertia >?3.04×1038 kg?m2 for the newest estimate of Crab nebula mass, 4.6M⊙. These results are quite well in agreement with the possible values of mass and radius of Crab pulsar. Besides this, our model yields moments of inertia for PSR J0737-3039A and PSR J0737-3039B, IA=1.4285×1038 kg?m2 and IB=1.3647×1038 kg?m2 respectively. It has been observed that under well behaved conditions this class of solutions gives us the overall maximum gravitational mass of super dense object, MG(max)=4.7487M⊙ with radius $R_{M_{\max}}=15.24~\mathrm{km}$, surface redshift 0.9878, charge 7.47×1020C, and central density 4.31ρnm. 相似文献
We study the phase transition in a gravitating system by analyzing grand canonical partition function as a function of complex fugacity. We extend the Yang-Lee theory to study phase transitions in the gravitational galaxy clustering of galaxies having a variety of masses. This generalizes our previous work based on the same theory for the single-component system to a multicomponent system. We find that galaxy clustering is sensitive to masses and number densities of individual galaxies at early stages while at later stages collective behavior of the particles is more pronounced. This validates our earlier work obtained from different considerations. 相似文献
Despite expanding research activity in gravitational lens modeling, there is no particular software which is considered a standard. Much of the gravitational lens modeling software is written by individual investigators for their own use. Some gravitational lens modeling software is freely available for download but is widely variable with regard to ease of use and quality of documentation. This review of 13 software packages was undertaken to provide a single source of information. Gravitational lens models are classified as parametric models or non-parametric models, and can be further divided into research and educational software. Software used in research includes the GRAVLENS package (with both gravlens and lensmodel), Lenstool, LensPerfect, glafic, PixeLens, SimpLens, Lensview, and GRALE. In this review, GravLensHD, G-Lens, Gravitational Lensing, lens and MOWGLI are categorized as educational programs that are useful for demonstrating various aspects of lensing. Each of the 13 software packages is reviewed with regard to software features (installation, documentation, files provided, etc.) and lensing features (type of model, input data, output data, etc.) as well as a brief review of studies where they have been used. Recent studies have demonstrated the utility of strong gravitational lensing data for mass mapping, and suggest increased use of these techniques in the future. Coupled with the advent of greatly improved imaging, new approaches to modeling of strong gravitational lens systems are needed. This is the first systematic review of strong gravitational lens modeling software, providing investigators with a starting point for future software development to further advance gravitational lens modeling research. 相似文献
A new criterion for lunar crescent visibility has been established using 737 observations, almost half of them obtained by
the Islamic Crescent Observation Project (ICOP). This criterion is based on two variables, viz. the topocentric arc of vision
and the topocentric crescent width. The new model is able to predict the visibility of the lunar crescent both for naked eye
and optically aided observations. From the database we found a Danjon limit of 6.4 degrees.

The regionally extensive, coarse-grained Bakhtiyari Formation represents the youngest synorogenic fill in the Zagros foreland basin of Iran. The Bakhtiyari is present throughout the Zagros fold-thrust belt and consists of conglomerate with subordinate sandstone and marl. The formation is up to 3000 m thick and was deposited in foredeep and wedge-top depocenters flanked by fold-thrust structures. Although the Bakhtiyari concordantly overlies Miocene deposits in foreland regions, an angular unconformity above tilted Paleozoic to Miocene rocks is expressed in the hinterland (High Zagros).
The Bakhtiyari Formation has been widely considered to be a regional sheet of Pliocene–Pleistocene conglomerate deposited during and after major late Miocene–Pliocene shortening. It is further believed that rapid fold growth and Bakhtiyari deposition commenced simultaneously across the fold-thrust belt, with limited migration from hinterland (NE) to foreland (SW). Thus, the Bakhtiyari is generally interpreted as an unmistakable time indicator for shortening and surface uplift across the Zagros. However, new structural and stratigraphic data show that the most-proximal Bakhtiyari exposures, in the High Zagros south of Shahr-kord, were deposited during the early Miocene and probably Oligocene. In this locality, a coarse-grained Bakhtiyari succession several hundred meters thick contains gray marl, limestone, and sandstone with diagnostic marine pelecypod, gastropod, coral, and coralline algae fossils. Foraminiferal and palynological species indicate deposition during early Miocene time. However, the lower Miocene marine interval lies in angular unconformity above ~ 150 m of Bakhtiyari conglomerate that, in turn, unconformably caps an Oligocene marine sequence. These relationships attest to syndepositional deformation and suggest that the oldest Bakhtiyari conglomerate could be Oligocene in age.
The new age information constrains the timing of initial foreland-basin development and proximal Bakhtiyari deposition in the Zagros hinterland. These findings reveal that structural evolution of the High Zagros was underway by early Miocene and probably Oligocene time, earlier than commonly envisioned. The age of the Bakhtiyari Formation in the High Zagros contrasts significantly with the Pliocene–Quaternary Bakhtiyari deposits near the modern deformation front, suggesting a long-term (> 20 Myr) advance of deformation toward the foreland. 相似文献
The character of convergence along the Arabian–Iranian plate boundary changes radically eastward from the Zagros ranges to
the Makran region. This appears to be due to collision of continental crust in the west, in contrast to subduction of oceanic
crust in the east. The Makran subduction zone with a length of about 900 km display progressively older and highly deformed
sedimentary units northward from the coast, together with an increase in elevation of the ranges. North of the Makran ranges
are large subsiding basins, flanked to the north by active volcanoes. Based on 2D seismic reflection data obtained in this
study, the main structural provinces and elements in the Gulf of Oman include: (i) the structural elements on the northeastern
part of the Arabian Plate and, (ii) the Offshore Makran Accretionary Complex. Based on detailed analysis of these data on
the northeastern part of the Arabian Plate five structural provinces and elements—the Musendam High, the Musendam Peneplain,
the Musendam Slope, the Dibba Zone, and the Abyssal Plain have been identified. Further, the Offshore Makran Accretionary
Complex shown is to consist Accretionary Prism and the For-Arc Basin, while the Accretionary Prism has been subdivided into
the Accretionary Wedge and the Accreted/Colored Mélange. Lastly, it is important to note that the Makran subduction zone lacks
the trench. The identification of these structural elements should help in better understanding the seismicity of the Makran
region in general and the subduction zone in particular. The 1945 magnitude 8.1 tsunamigenic earthquake of the Makran and
some other historical events are illustrative of the coastal region’s vulnerability to future tsunami in the area, and such
data should be of value to the developing Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning System. 相似文献

In this study, stream sediment geochemical data have been subjected to robust principal components analysis (RPCA) and singularity mapping (SM) to enhance and map significant multivariate geochemical anomalies (i.e., mineralization-related) in Ahar area, NW Iran. The RPCA was applied to (a) account for the compositional nature of stream sediment geochemical data using suitable log-ratio transformation, (b) modulate the effect of outliers in component estimation and (c) derive a multivariate geochemical footprint of mineralization. The SM was applied to extract anomalous patterns of the multivariate geochemical footprint of mineralization. The exploration targets were then delineated using Student’s t-statistics analysis. The correlations of mapped exploration targets with the known mineral occurrences and mineralization-related patterns were further evaluated using normalized density index and overall accuracy analyses. 相似文献
